FACEBOOK Evolution for Social Media
Whenever someone hears this term the first thing comes on mind is Facebook Twitter Whatsapp Tinder Instagram etc.,
Here i would like to share some information on Facebook.
Facebook is a well known Social Media site which is used by more than One Billion Peoples around the world and also nearly a hundred million people joins every month.
A Student who is dumbed by his Girlfriend creates a website called FACEMASH which is used to rate attractiveness of female students by their photos within the Campus. This brought a huge traffic to FACEMASH and a six months probation to the Creator who known as MARK ZUCKERBERG.
This Concept was impressed by two more students from a different university who had the idea of sharing thoughts,photos,videos with friends and be connected with them by a social network.
Having this Idea Mark created a social network and named it as THE FACEBOOK and made it go live within his university.This created a heavy traffic on network and many peoples joined in it which resulted in the idea of making it online around Yale University,Columbia University and Stanford University.
In a Meeting with the Co-Founder of NAPSTER (music Focused Online services) Sean Parker suggested MARK to just drop off “THE” from THE FACEBOOK and name it as just FACEBOOK.Accepting his suggestion MARK changed THE FACEBOOK into FACEBOOK and that’s the evolution of FACEBOOK.
