What is PMP?

• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a certification administrated by the Project Management Institute 
• PMP certification recognizes professionals with demonstrated knowledge and experience along with the required skill set and competency to lead projects

PMP Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for PMP® Certification, you need to meet the following requirement criteria:
• A secondary Diploma (High School or Associate Degree)
• 7,500 hours or 5 years of experience in leading and directing the projects
        (OR)
• Four Year Bachelor’s degree or Global Equivalent
• 4,500 hours or 3 years of experience in leading and directing the projects
• 35 contact hours certificate obtained through PMP® Exam Prep certification training course is an additional requirement

How to get PMP Certification Online?

1. Read and understand the Project management professional credential handbook 
2. Become a PMI member (optional)
3. Register for the PMP exam
4. Study the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition
5. Enroll for self-paced PMP training course and read a PMP preparation book
6. Take an instructor-led PMP certification classroom or online training course
7. Practice through sample test questions
8. 2-months with 3 hours of exam prep studies each-day Or minimum 23 days of preparation if you dedicate 8 hours a day
9. Earn 60 PDUs for certification maintenance
